Mini beasts came to school. This is a cockroach and it was very big. Different to our kitchen cockroaches as this one was a burrowing cockroach from the rain forest. Apparently they don't have germs like the common household cockroaches.

My son bought himself one of these from a pet shop for $45 just before he left home to join the Navy. I now have the pleasure of keeping the tank clean and stocked with fresh soil, sand, leaves and bits of banana. Apparently they live for years!
