233:365 Full dams?

At last after a decade the dams are getting full. Some around are overflowing. It's wonderful to see. I loved the reflections of the sky and tall trees in this shot.

232:365 Sweet orange marmalade

Election day means sausage sizzles (fail) and produce stalls. At least there was a produce stall and this jam was just what I needed. Tomorrow's breakfast is looking good.

231:365 Green rolling hills

The hills were so green today. I saw so many nice pictures but none look as good as what you see with the naked eye.

230:365 Old stone buildings

I see this old ruin of a building on the way to Kyneton. I wonder how old it is? Was it built by the convicts? Australia had most of it's early work done by convicts as they were the first to come to Australia and were put to work by officers and settlers.

229:365 Election day

227:365 Osabah in Kyneton

- Osabah is a shop full of lots of choc goodies and kitchen goodies. Lots of small rooms full of more and more surprises.
A nice way to spend some time and money in Kyneton.

226:365 Ashby's Larder visit no.2

Kyneton in August is very cold, infact freezing. It's seems to be in a black hole with no. Networks available or wifi. So at least I can type this up and save it as a draft for later. can I transfer photos via blue tooth? Here's another time where I want to transfer photos to my iPad but have no wifi. I'll have to look into it again.
Both advices are on discoverable but don't see each other. Hmm they must need paring.

So the lemon tart wasn't available so I decided to have an early lunch of turkey and cranberry foccacias..

Kyneton have a daffodil festival each year and the streets have daffodils in each tree planter. Very pretty. Last time I was here in May I bought some mini daffodils from the florist next door.

Today is the federal election so I have to go and vote. While I'm here I'm reading the Age guide to voting. Education is my main interest so I'll check out what each party is going to do. Then decide.

224:365 Panorama

The garden has grown so many weeds this winter. We have some work to do. Compare this with an early pic in January where there is very little green at all. It's amazing. I took 5 pics with my iPhone and then stitched them together in panmaker on the iPhone. Last I used duplicam to move the pic onto my iPad so I could post using blogpress which works so well on the iPad.

223:365 My newish cup and duplicam

Lately I seem to be showing lots of people the iPads. So I can't resist showing them duplicam an app for the iPhone and iPad that puts pics straight from the iphone to the iPad. You can even see them on the iPad while you take the shot and if you like you can take the pic from the iPad.

222:365 Flinders St Station

The station hasn't changed at all over the years from the outside that is. Recently when eating at Bradies' Tavern I compared this to a sketch from the early last century and found it almost looked the same. The surrounds had changed.

221:365 Shooting roses

More evidence that winter is fading, the roses have begun to shoot their new growth. Pity I haven't yet pruned them yet.

213:365 Demolished

The rural building has been demolished and now we have a space between the new and older buildings. We need to come up with some designs to use this space.

212:365 Daphne

The smell of Daphne is so calming. Lyn brought me a lovely bunch on Sunday and it smells so good. My own Daphne bush has somehow survived the drought with little water and the roots have been dug away by Elmo sleeping near it's trunk.

211:365 Minibeasts

Mini beasts came to school. This is a cockroach and it was very big. Different to our kitchen cockroaches as this one was a burrowing cockroach from the rain forest. Apparently they don't have germs like the common household cockroaches.

Oh to have a lemon tree that produces heaps of lemons. Funny how people with good lemon trees don't use them.
