65:365 Early Autumn

The nights are cool and great for sleeping. The days are sunny and warm. The vines are beginning to turn which doesn't usually happen until mid to late April. So yes Autumn is here and Summer has gone.
We escaped without bushfires for the first year in a long long time. Floods have ravaged parts of the State of Victoria.
The garden has remained green all summer. I'll miss those first rains in Autumn when you see the grass growing in the paddocks day by day.

  1. Autumn duly arrived in New Zealand on March 1 with a dose of rain, just in case we weren't sure. The leaves are beginning to turn and blow around. It's still very warm so we might get field mushrooms soon.
